Final Call Promotions heads to Wabash Valley Dragway for their season-ending Moser Engineering Door Car Duel on August 26-28, 2022.

TERRE HAUTE, IN – Final Call Promotions has one more event up their sleeve for the 2022 season and this one is strictly for the door slammers. In just a little over four weeks, the smoke will start rolling out of the wheel tubs as racers flock to Wabash Valley Dragway for the Inaugural Moser Engineering Door Car Duel on August 26-28, 2022.

Three days of racing is open to both Box and No-Box racers, but as the name suggests, you must leave the dragsters at home. The Door Car Duel gives door cars and left hand steer roadsters all the spotlight as the event is live-streamed on MotorManiaTV, courtesy of Moser Engineering.

Racers get the opportunity to warm up the racetrack beginning on Friday with the $30 Test n’ Tune session from 12-4 pm. Drivers who participate in the Competitive Suspension Gamblers Race will receive one time trial at 5pm, followed by first round of eliminations.

If time allows, there will also be a pit vehicle race on Friday night presented by Double00ShitShow!

On both Grizzly, Inc. Saturday and Mayes Powder Coating Sunday, the top bulb drivers will be competing for $7,500 to win, $1,500 for the runner up, and $500 for the semifinalists.

First round losers can pay $100 for their shot at redemption in the re-entry round. Once a driver turns on the third round win light, they will collect $80 for each winning round.

There are multiple payment options for those who want to participate in the main events. A one-day Box single entry is $150 or a driver can double one-day for $250. If you’re looking to cash in both days, $250 will cover your tab.

Bottom bulb racers have a little more flexibility in how much risk and reward they are willing to race for during the Door Car Duel main events.

With the $100 single day entry or $150 weekend entry, No Box drivers will compete for $2,500 to win, $500 for the runner up, and $250 for the semifinalists. The re-entry will cost $50 but there is no round money earned for this option.

For those willing to up the ante by paying the $250 weekend entry fee they will also be eligible for increased benefits. The No Bo High Roller racers will earn $80 round money or the No Box semi, runner up, and winner’s purse. A first round buyback for No Box High Rollers will only cost $100.

If you win the No Box class while racing with a High Roller tech card, you will also advance into the next round of the Box class and continue racing for their $7,500 purse!

The warm and fuzzy feelings you get while attending a Final Call Promotions event will be in full swing during the Moser Engineering Door Car Duel. Features like the Saturday night Racer Appreciation Dinner presented by Tailgaters BBQ, the 50/50 Race Cars Burnout Contest, Jenna Protz Memorial Scholarship Run for the Money, and numerous fabulous round prizes will be up for grabs during the event.

If you participated in the Working Man’s $10 Grands and Bernie Mann No Delay Nationals this year, then you’re in for a special bonus when you compete at the Door Car Duel. Each driver who purchased a weekend entry at all three Final Call Promotions events in 2022 will receive one free weekend entry to any 2023 Final Call Promotion event. This sounds like a much better prize than the average perfect attendance pizza party!

Make plans now to attend the Moser Engineering Door Car Duel at Wabash Valley Dragway on August 26-28, 2022!
