“10 Years, Still Here” – Celebrating a Decade of Dogs at Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Steele Creek: In honor of its 10th anniversary, Lucky Dog is throwing a weekend-long celebration at all three locations. Swing by the Uptown location on Friday for live music by Rumor Mill. The Lake Norman location will have live music on Saturday, and the Steele Creek location will have even more performances on Sunday. Aug. 12-14. Free. Details.

CLT Free Skate Summer Sessions at Victoria Yards: Meet up with CLT Free Skate for its first-ever outdoor roller rink skate sesh. There will be music, food trucks and other vendors. 3-10pm. $0-$50. Details.

Keys N Krates at The Music Yard: Experience the sample-driven sounds of Keys N Krates as they make their Music Yard debut for a special sunset set. 6pm. $25+. Details.

Keith Urban – The Speed of Now World Tour at PNC Music Pavillion: Sing along to hits from the country music legend Keith Urban. 7pm. $29.50+. Details.

“22 & Good 4 u” Taylor Swift & Olivia Rodrigo Night at The Evening Muse: If you’re looking to “shake it off” and celebrate the weekend, this event will be “good 4 u.” Hits by Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo will be playing all night long, so warm up your vocals and bring your crew for a fun evening. 8pm. $22-$25. Beer Garden Movie Night: Shrek at Brewers at 4001 Yancey: Head to the taproom for a screening of perennial favorite Shrek. There will be free popcorn and drinks available for purchase. 8pm. Free. Details.

5K at Five Points Plaza: The route will take runners through the Biddleville neighborhood and wrap up with a big backyard-style barbecue party. For those who prefer a shorter route, there will also be a 1-Mile Fun Run. 8am. $40-$45. Details.

South End Farmers Market at Atherton Market: Shop local, sustainable and responsibly sourced produce and proteins from dozens of regional vendors. 8am to 1pm. Free. Details.

Sketching and Pastries at Amélie’s French Bakery & Café NoDa: Join Charlotte Urban Sketchers for a sketching session fueled by coffee, tea and pastries. All drawing levels are welcome. 10am to Noon. Free. Details.

French Macarons from Scratch with SkillPop: Learn the process of making French macarons with the help of Chef Rosana. This class will cover mixing and piping batter to bake into crisp shells and making buttercream fillings. 10-11:30am. $19. Details.

2nd Saturday’s Drag Brunch at Midtown Tavern: Join Lili Frost and the Vanity House for a fun drag show filled with dancing, lip-syncing and plenty of antics. 11am. $20. Details.
