In the 1990s, you couldn’t talk about skateboarding without talking about Tony Hawk. Nowadays, the pro-skateboarder is arguably better known for his cheeky attitude on Twitter. (You better hope you’re not caught not knowing what Tony Hawk looks like in 2022, or you will end up as the main character on his Twitter page.) Now, Hawk’s long-time fans and Twitter followers alike can get an up-close and personal look at the skateboarder via his new HBO documentary, Tony Hawk: Until The Wheels Fall Off.

Directed by Sam Jones, and produced by Mel Eslyn and the Duplass brothers, this documentary promises an “all-encompassing look at the skateboarder’s life and legendary career.” You’ll hear from Hawk himself, who is now 53, as well as interviews with other skateboarders, including Stacy Peralta, Rodney Mullen, Mike McGill, Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Neil Blender, Andy MacDonald, Duane Peters, Sean Mortimer, and Christian Hosoi.
