Fall Guys is crossing over with Halo, and here’s everything thing you need to know about Spartan Showdown, including the start date.

A new crossover between Halo and Fall Guys has been announced, and here’s everything that we know about Spartan Showdown, including the starting date and new skins.

Fall Guys took the gaming world by storm when it was released back on August 4, 2020. Mediatonic’s fun-loving multiplayer party game has a great blend of competitive quirkiness, appealing to a wide range of audiences.

As well as the gameplay, the creative cosmetics and characters are also loved, and the developers are extending this further by bringing a crossover with the popular Halo video game series.

Here’s everything we know about the leaked Fall Guys x Halo Spartan Showdown crossover.

The trailer for the Spartan Showdown confirms that the Fall Guys and Halo crossover will take place from June 30 to July 4, and this was officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase Extended.

This was done in the wake of Epic Games’ acquisition and a relaunch for Fall Guys which is set to make the game free-to-play and finally available on Xbox consoles.

In the video announcement of Spartan Showdown, which is inspired by Halo 3’s “Believe” trailer, Fall Guys characters are shown in a frozen state during the chaos of a round.

Then, out of nowhere, Halo Infinite’s cat ear Spartan Helmet can be spotted, and later on, a full Master Chief armor outfit. Other Halo cosmetics can be spotted, including Chieftain armor and Grunt armor.

That’s all we currently know about Fall Guys’ Halo Infinite crossover, but as more information is released we’ll be sure to update this piece. For now, check out our FIFA 23 rating predictions.

Apex Legends Heirlooms are some of the most sought-after items in the whole game, but what are they and what do they do?

The Heirlooms in Apex Legends are very popular rare items that all dedicated players wish to obtain. To understand the demand, let’s get into the details of what they are.

Apex Legends has some pretty cool cosmetics for players to obtain, including the recent addition of Prestige skins. There are plenty of neat cosmetic items that you can use to stylize your weapons and characters.

Heirlooms are the rarest and most prestigious in-game items, and not every Legend has one of them. Let’s go into detail about what they are and what they actually do for you in Apex Legends.

An Heirloom is a Legend-specific melee item that Apex Legends players can purchase with Heirloom Shards, which are obtained in Apex Packs.

The reason Heirlooms are so rare is because there is a 1 in 500 chance of receiving Heirloom Shards in an Apex Pack, and only on your 500th pack are you guaranteed the shards.

Further, Heirlooms usually come out during a Collection Event, where players need to collect every item in the event to receive the new Heirloom. However, these can be very pricey.

To calculate how many Apex Packs you have opened, check out our article on how to track your Heirloom progress.

Heirlooms are strictly cosmetic items that are specific to Legends that currently have them available. They give you new melee animations and sounds, as well as something cool to hold while your weapons are holstered.

These items also have detailed animations when your weapon is holstered, as well as satisfying animations for moving between running, walking, sliding, and crouching.

There are currently 14 Legends who have Heirlooms in the game, and each of these items is suited to their own distinct sets of abilities.

Here are all the Apex Legends Heirlooms currently in the game:

At the time of writing, Valkyrie is the latest character to receive an Heirloom in Apex Legends Season 13. The Suzaku has arrived as part of the Awakening Collection Event.

Although we don’t have official information regarding the next Legend to receive an Heirloom, we have had leaks in the past regarding Loba’s Heirloom, so it could be coming next.

Control has quickly become one of Apex Legends’ most popular modes, but when is it coming back, and could it be made permanent?

When Respawn Entertainment added the Control LTM in Season 12 of Apex Legends, few could have predicted how popular it would become. As the mode is limited, many players wonder when it is available.

Apex Legends Season 13 has featured major new content for the battle royale, from updates to Storm Point to big buffs for Lifeline. Despite all that, the return of Control has been on every player’s lips.

The 9v9 mode sees teams fight to capture three control points found on the map, with respawns enabled, unlike normal battle royale.

Since this is a Limited-Time Mode, it’s no surprise that it comes and goes. With that being said, let’s get into the details of when the mode is returning and whether it will become permanent.

Control has officially returned to Apex Legends as part of the Awakening Collection Event on June 21, 2022.

As the Awakening Collection Event is set to be removed on July 5, this is also when Control will once again be removed from the game.

The LTM has been updated and given a new map for fans to enjoy, Lava Siphon from World’s Edge. Check out the full patch notes for the LTM in our guide to the Control changes in Season 13.

Although it may be disappointing to hear that it will be removed again, it has returned, many times now and will likely be back in the future, perhaps even in Season 14.

Control is a limited-time mode, which means that the mode is only available for a certain amount of time before it is removed from the game.

Control is available for two weeks during the Awakening Collection Event, and it has come and gone a few times now since its introduction in Season 12. This definitely implies that it has the potential to return once again, so don’t get too down about it being removed.

Unfortunately, we just don’t know the answer to that, but at the moment, it seems unlikely. Respawn devs have constantly stated that it’s a Limited-Time Mode, and dropped no hints about it sticking around forever.

Still, if there is a big enough audience and fans continue to support the mode, there’s always a chance the devs could make it a permanent fixture of the game, especially as they seem pretty adamant about improving the mode with updates and bug fixes like in the 13.1 update.

That’s everything we know about the return of Control, at least for the time being. We’ll be sure to keep this article updated with any information we get from Respawn.

The Shapeshifters promo followed TOTS as the next Ultimate Team promo in FIFA 22. Here’s a look at the Team 1 squad and Team 2 leaks.

The Shapeshifters promo last seen in FIFA 20 has made its way to FIFA 22’s Ultimate Team mode following the Team of the Season.

Team of the Season is certainly one of the most popular promos of the year, but it surely isn’t the final promo for FIFA 22 players to enjoy. Luckily, there are still a few Ultimate Team promos to look forward to and Shapeshifters is one of them.

The Shapeshifters promo was a fan-favorite promo in FIFA 20, and after not featuring in FIFA 21, it has made a return to Ultimate Team in FIFA 22.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Shapeshifters promo including the release date, Team 1 players, and Team 2 leaks.

Following confirmation from EA, Team 1 of the Shapeshifters promo arrived on Friday, June 17 after the conclusion of TOTS. Team 2 is expected to hit Ultimate Team one week later on Friday, June 24.

With exciting new content to enjoy, you’ll want to log into FIFA when the new cards make their way to Ultimate Team at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK.

The Shapeshifters promo is a fan favorite due to its unique tendency to have top players in unconventional positions. This promo takes players out of their standard position and allows you to build a squad with more options at your disposal.

For example, in FIFA 20, Trent Alexander-Arnold went from playing RB to CM. This drastic change opens the door to new squad-building possibilities.

Some of the Shapeshifters cards boast skill moves and weak foot upgrades. These special cards received rating boosts, SM/WF upgrades, and position changes, which makes Shapeshifters a top-tier promo.

TOTS was always going to be a difficult act to follow, but EA have certainly delivered an incredible promo with some stellar players on offer. Lionel Messi, Heung Min Son, and Youcef Atal will be highly sought-after players.

Anderson and Carrasco are both available via SBC, while Thuram is expected to join them as an SBC reward throughout the promo.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg’s Gerhardt and Arsenal’s Pepe are available via Objective.

FutSheriff has shared leaks concerning Team 2 players and there is plenty of reason to be excited with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo included. It seems Ferland Mendy eludes Ultimate Team fans once again, but there’s always the next FIFA 22 promo to look forward to.

Take a look at the players they claim will be involved in Shapeshifters Team 2:

Shapeshifters Team 2 is looking equally as strong as Team 1. Ultimate Team fans should be excited to receive a promo that includes Ronaldo and Messi so soon after TOTS. Marcelo and Ronaldo should be the two most sought-after cards, but Ramos shouldn’t be too far behind.
