The following items were taken from Highland Park police department and Lake County court clerk reports, news releases and records. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Taner T. Bayramli, 33, of the 500 block of Roger Williams Avenue in Highland Park, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault and domestic battery Aug. 31. He was arrested following a police response to a reported physical altercation in the 500 block of Roger Williams. He was transported to the Lake County jail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 19 in Waukegan.

POSSESSION OF A STOLEN AUTO

Arnos Glenn T. Sino, 38, of the 1900 block of Sunshine Lane in Zion, was charged with possession of a stolen automobile and driving with an invalid license Aug. 26. He was arrested after police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle near the intersection of Braeside Road and Lakeside Place. The vehicle was reported stolen in Gurnee. He was transported to the Lake County jail following a virtual bond hearing. He is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 21 in Waukegan.

Alexander C. Hansen, 27, of the 37300 block of Hillside Drive in Lake Villa, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or a combination of drugs, possession of a hypodermic needle, improper lane usage, driving with an improper tire, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of a vehicle damage accident and driving an uninsured motor vehicle Aug. 27. Police arrested Hansen near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Elm Place after receiving a report of a hit and run collision near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West which he fled. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 7 in Waukegan.

Markis M. Vinson, 36, of the 800 block of Massaoit Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with an invalid license and improper lane usage Sept. 1. Police arrested Vinson after responding to a well being check in the 0-100 block of South Deere Park Drive. Police found him sleeping in a running vehicle in a lane of oncoming traffic. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 16 in Waukegan.

Walter D. Hargrove, 27, of the 300 block of Lake Street in Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving with an invalid license Aug. 27. He was arrested after police stopped him near Route 41 and Clavey Road. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 23 in Waukegan.

Diego Rosas, 20, of the 1500 block of McDaniels Avenue in Highland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful use of cannabis as a driver and possession of drug paraphernalia Sept. 1. Rosas lost control of his vehicle, struck a light pole and a tree in the 1300 block of McDaniels. Police found him to be under the influence of alcohol. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 28 in Waukegan.

Darryl B. Smith, 34, of the 3700 block of Nevada Court in North Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding Aug 29. He was arrested after police stopped him near Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 23 in Waukegan.

Alvin Anderson III, 49, of the 1100 block of Center Street in Racine, Wisconsin, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the health of a child, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with an invalid license and improper lane usage Aug. 28. He was arrested after police stopped him near Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 19 in Waukegan.

Erdenesaikhan Adilsaikhan, 24, of the 600 block of Pleasure drive in Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding Aug. 29. He was arrested after police stopped him near the intersection of Skokie Valley and Half Day roads. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 23 in Waukegan.

Jihan N. McCrary, 40, of the 500 block of George Street in Wood Dale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with improper registration, driving with an invalid license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle Aug. 30. He was arrested when the police found him slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle in the 700 block of Central Avenue. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 7 in Waukegan.

Wayne E. Christmas, 62, of the 2200 block of South Clark Street in Chicago, was apprehended on a failure to appear warrant from the Metra police department Aug. 27. Police responded to a well being check in the in the 700 block of Central Avenue, encountered Christmas and learned he was wanted on the warrant. He was released to the custody of the Metra police.

Joseph D. Davis, 39, of the 2300 block of Hermon Avenue in Zion, was charged with driving with an invalid license, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle Aug. 27. He was arrested after a traffic stop near Clavey Road and Highway 41. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Sept. 28 in Park City.

A man approached the front door of a residence in the 3000 block of Centennial Lane informing the residents the water supply was contaminated. After entering the home and turning the water on to distract the residents, two unknown men entered the home stealing jewelry and a watch Aug. 22.

Someone forced entry to a residence in the 1000 block of Marion Avenue through a sliding-glass door stealing jewelry and cash Aug. 22.

An unknown individual forced entry to a residence in the 1300 block of Sherwood Road Aug. 23 stealing jewelry from the home.

Someone forced entry through the front door of a home in the 2400 block of Green Bay Road Aug. 28 stealing cash.

Three packages reportedly delivered to a business in the 1500 block of Old Skokie Road Aug. 22 were reported stolen.

An unknown individual entered a retail business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, filled a cart with groceries and over the counter medications and left without paying Aug. 28. The estimated value of the merchandise was $1,190.
